Libraries for Liberation recognizes that racial justice and economic justice are intertwined – that’s why we made the commitment to purchase from and partner with BIPOC-owned bookstores.
We know that every movement needs funding to be sustainable, which is where you come in. We are asking for your financial support: whether yours is a $10 donation or a larger gift, 100% of your donation goes to buying books that center and celebrate the experiences of BIPOC into the hands of readers and activists of all ages across the United States.
All donations are tax deductible! We are fiscally sponsored by a wonderful organization called Building Audacity, which shares our vision for freedom and power for the most marginalized individuals and communities. Building Audacity empowers youth ages 11 to 25 to identify the changes they want to see in their communities and provides them with the tools and resources to lead that change. For more information, visit their website.
All donors will receive a letter of acknowledgement of their donation.
Donations by check can be made payable to Building Audacity with “Libraries for Liberation” in the memo line and sent to 75 Allen Ave, Lynn, MA 01902.
If you would like to speak with a member of the team directly about a donation, please email us at firstname.lastname@example.org.
