Libraries for Liberation recognizes that racial justice and economic justice are intertwined – that’s why we made the commitment to purchase from and partner with BIPOC-owned bookstores.
We know that every movement needs funding to be sustainable, which is where you come in. We are asking for your financial support: whether yours is a $10 donation or a larger gift, 100% of your donation goes to providing opportunities and resources for individuals and their communities to awaken to the reality of systemic racism and the myth of white supremacy.
All donations are tax deductible! We are fiscally sponsored by a wonderful organization called Tia Chucha’s Centro Cultural, which shares our vision for freedom and power for the most marginalized individuals and communities. A beautiful bookstore and cultural center, Tia Chucha’s is committed to supporting community transformation through the arts, literacy, creative engagement, and ancestral knowledge.
